  • No issues - site handles deposit. Renter requests, provider accepts, goods used, goods returned, provider indicates no issues, deposit returned (small fee for processing?)
  • Renter no-shows -cancellation policy options required (look at multiple options. Maybe no issue with free, but small penalty if they have inconvenienced a provider).
  • Provider no shows - Site can't do much in areas without other providers. Suspend provider, return deposit. Maybe over time we work with bike shops that do rentals to find a preferred price on short term notice rental?
  • Provider - bike not as advertised. Need a policy.
  • Renter - Damages bike. Need a policy
  • Renter - Steal bike. Policy.
  • Renter 0 Claims bike is stolen. Need a policy (and a police file number).
• Remote goods (eg. Ship a battery in Canada but not in the same city.)
  • Need locations that could hold a package for a few days (Bike shops, hotels, breweries coworking places, other retail?)> Maybe a holding fee on these transactions and charge a separate fee for arranging this.

• Could cap rates at friendly pricing.
• Could cap number of listings to prevent a flood.
• Could cap number per country or province.
• Focus is on peer-to-peer, not B2C, but B2C could build a network much faster.
